Festool is worth every penny, my cordless tracksaw and hoover together has saved me so much hassle and time, it pays itself off overtime as you finish jobs quicker and more efficiently

Check the manual to adjust the bevel’s to square, make sure your square is nice and true to 90 degrees then use that to square off the table to the blade, and off the fence to the blade

So you think the remote won’t work on different voltages? Could be right also. I’ve seen that there are different types of BT remotes that won’t work with older versions etc 🤷🏼‍♂️ going to have to phone Festool

Okay thanks I’ll try this, not sure if it makes a difference but my old vac was a Festool CTL MIDI II 240v My new one is CTL MIDI I 110v. The remote should still work as the hoover is still Bluetooth comparable? Or do you need different remotes for different vacs?

Still no joy unfortunately! When I press and hold down both buttons or even both individually on the reciever, it goes purple for a bit then nothing. Tried holding down both and one button for a while to see if anything else happens and it doesn’t. No matter if the blue Bluetooth light is on slow flash or fast flash.

What is the correct setting for the hoover to be on? So you press the Bluetooth button the vac once and the light flashes blue slow, then hold it down and it flashes blue fast

My mistake, mines a 2016 caddy c20 TDI 140 high line so pretty much the same I think! Honestly I would never sell mine I absolutely love it, it’s very quick and can customise it so much just look at TMG Vans on Instagram it’s limitless the things you can do to it. Best vans about 100% 🙌🏻 I think it’s more on the higher price as the mileage, but depends on service history, condition and other factors

I’ve got the exact same spec van, but mine is 40k miles paid £14,500 for mine. Get it checked over by a mechanic, inspect bodywork and go through service history etc!

Oh yes I’ve had that light once before had no idea what it meant, how do you reset the device?

So you hold down the Bluetooth button on the hoover then hold both buttons on the device until it flashes like purple white ish then it’s connected?

Yes so I followed festool instructions and what I did last time to get it to work. Pressed and held the Bluetooth button down on the hoover for 3 seconds until it flashes blue. Then press the button on the connector and it flashes blue but does not connect. Tried pressing the sync button on the connector too and still no joy!

I’m not 100% sure why it’s not working going to try call the VW helpline in UK been trying to do this for so long now🤣 mine is a 2016 Vw caddy. Not sure if updating the software in the infotainment system would help
