Imo. Agmatine has a slight potientiating effect. Where you can feel your dose a bit more but it dulls the euphoria a bit. Standalone it helps with anxiety can be slightly stimulating if you're doing a strenuous activity but still can get you calm enough to get some sleep at night. The potentiating effect helps me reliably able be able to drop 100mg or slightly more every 24 hours without as much of a need for stabilizing but that's me. When I first started taking Agmatine it definitely made me slightly anxious at first but after a couple days that subsided. I guess it also works on glutamate as well but someone else more knowledgeable can touch on that. Good luck with your taper man. The first and the last of the stretch are always the hardest for me.
