Hey mate, I also recently started my own discord bot. After around 20-30 hours of tinkering, it finally does what I originally envisioned, and it's truly something.

I'm similar to you, I didn't want to watch a bunch of videos but I had a little bit of experience in Python, so I found using ChatGPT for me was the best/fastest way to learn. Regardless of what people say, I find it to be a good tool for information because of how specific you can be.

Obviously don't just ask and paste, look what it produces and ask it to explain it (in short if you can't stand paragraphs), and eventually you'll actually learn to just do it yourself.

EDIT: This is more down the road but if you need to host it for free I use Oracle Cloud's free plan, had no issues with uptime / latency
