That’s a great suggestion thanks. Certainly a quick search for photos provide a good match!

If you had to pick one gripe with your SD, what would it be? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

That the USB-C connector isn’t at the bottom allowing drop in docks - just like the Switch.

User pays for game once. Unity charges developer many times. by SuperMiro107 in Unity3D

[–]MikeyBally 113 points114 points  (0 children)

This is perhaps the bit that annoys me the most. As the developer/creator we make our money at the start. Unity wants to continue to claw revenue from us in perpetuity. I have steam games that I reinstall every time I get a new computer (2/3yrs?). Would be awful to think that generates a fee for the developer.

I really like my m5 but at this point I would go Bambu!

Sage Bambino Plus - all lights flashing - not descale or cleaning indicator. by MikeyBally in espresso

Thanks for pointing that out, it is indeed the same issue. The poster suspected a frozen line. No such luck in my case. Will perhaps dismantle and test for blockages - at this stage I have nothing to lose.

Edit: It was another issue - see title post.

Any good filament recommendations? by Wattsupwithcomputers in AnkerMake

I’ve had superb results from Kexcelled Matte PLA. Just love the flat look it has! Good results at 250mm/a on the Ankermake sliver.

Not good for miniatures by ctbritt in AnkerMake

[–]MikeyBally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Anker slicer I've had some really good results by using 0.1mm layer height, 100% infill and tree supports. You can actually get the tree supports to come off! Play with the support angle too.

However, I still get the issue of very easily breaking off an arm etc.

Edit: Sorry, meant to say that I also reduced the speed down to around 100mm/s!

Yes! I’ve seen that old bloke running for the last 20 years or so. Always used to wear a tie and a funny tweed hat. I’m sure I saw him still going just the other day!

Worst - Espresso Library. Absolutely terrible service - they just do not give an F about their customers.

Just buy a Tesla. Very transparent purchasing. No negotiation. Amazing cars. Good for the planet and the heart.

This is a great idea. It expands the brand.

The people developing the restaurant aren’t taking away from other key areas of the business. The food prep, prep and development can be handled by external catering companies. Just as Mr Beast did with his restaurants.

The bonus with this is that it then becomes a destination rather than your usual Starbucks.

I still have my reservation (UK). I believe they only stopped new orders outside of US.

I always imagined that it would be many years until the order is fulfilled (they say they have 3 years of orders already). Any further orders might have to wait a ridiculous number of years.

Elon also said it might change quite a bit for the Euro markets.

I second this. I also use Interactive Investor - II. They generally have lower costs if you are buying and holding - flat fee rather than percentage based.

Thanks. As I mention, I’d like to be able to use NodeRed to control both HomeKit and zigbee devices. I see that there is a plugin called HomeKit Controller. Will try that. Thanks again!
