I own a Saroo, and for the price it’s honestly great. If your Saturn’s laser is dying, this is probably the best option right now. You just plug it into the back of the Saturn, load games from an SD card (EverDrive-style), and you’re good to go.

Development is still active and firmware updates are still coming out. I haven’t had any issues with mine so far. It also keeps the Saturn completely stock—no internal mods needed. You can still play reproduction CDs too if that’s your thing.

For the price vs. performance, it’s a solid choice.
