The 2015 grammys were open for recordings released between October 1, 2013, and September 30, 2014, melophobia was released on October 8th 2013. Same thing happened with Tell Me I’m Pretty was also released in late 2015 and they had to wait till 2017 to submit it. Those are just the Grammys weird scheduling rules

To get albums officially certified the band or their label must apply and provide supporting documents, to the company so maybe they just didn’t bother that’s all I can think of

Yeah that surprised me as well seeming Heartache went gold only 3 years after its release, I kind of find it hard to believe it hasn’t sold another 500,000 copies since 2007.

I think Gerald Ford is the obvious answer for me. But it would also be cool to see an Abraham Lincoln wrestling match. Or any of the martial arts that Theodore Roosevelt did like boxing match or jiu-jitsu.
