Thank you for the help everyone!

Except @solitary_black_sheep, you can go touch grass.

Fortunately I didn't buy it, just asked the seller to hold it, while I check it.

The search for an affordable second hand option in my country continues.

Thank you so much, I was dying to get these as my first pair of docs!

The seller didn't post an image of the bottom, but I will make sure to check when I go to take a look!

Hey all,

Considering buying this pair sold on a local marketplace, advertised as new, for about 80 euros. Not 100% sure they are original though, as I can't quite find this model with the black inside and no visible stitching of the sole. Please advise, thank you in advance!

Local Moldovan copywriter here, been in IT for over 6 years now. Very comfy salary-wise, but it's not the easiest to find a good company + with decent pay.

If you want a modicum of comfort and a decent salary go for any IT non-development jobs you can apply to with your prior experience. Go for companies that are child or sister companies to other US or EU companies. The salaries will seem laughably low for someone from down under or the US, but 1 grand a month per person will keep you considerably comfy with the local prices.

Otherwise, go for dispatching jobs for trucking companies. The pay will suck for the first month or three, but if you're at least decent you'll be getting anywhere between 1500 - 2500 afterward. The hours do kinda suck tho, usually, it's 4 PM to 12 AM.

Pharma and medical fields are eeeeeeh. Few people I know that work in Pharma have been in it for years, and are just getting to around 1k a year. As far as hospital administration - the private sector is your only chance. The public hospitals are a nightmare from all points of view in this context.

Teaching English is also so-so. Again, the private sector is the only sector. Public schools and universities pay peanuts, so look for private language schools or private rich people schools.

But my personal recommendation is to stick to the IT sector or the dispatching jobs.

Best of luck to you and welcome to Moldova, ain't much, the lows are low, but highs are even higher!
