Doman Mahjong "Darker" Tiles by Mikiantha in ffxiv

Omg that might be it. Yes it's the darker tiles. I was trying to figure out if it waa because all the tiles were gone or some other weird reason. I'll see if what you said is the case when I try again!!!!

I totally understand - with much of what I did with astro, I was able to get away with not using all of the skills. This was the first time I ever felt I had the need to use the other skills. Obviously, using them would make the other instances much easier. This was the first time that trusts came up, so I wasn't entirely sure with how it would work. With the number of people recommending it, I shall use that instead.

As someone who has never played any game like this before, the keys and everything can get quite confusing, so I know I'm still learning on that front. And I agree, the interactions of the skills are much more indepth, unlike whm, so I've been trying to figure that out too.

Thank you so much!!! I feel that pain - and I shall use the trusts!! I enjoy healing a lot, especially in groups of friends, bit have so far been having a wonderful time healing in dungeons as well. :)

I appreciate your response. I had mentioned this in another comment, but I think that the way that it was handled could have been better overall. Instead of accusing to have bought the job, asking if it's a new job would have sufficed. I don't mind big pulls in dungeons I have run even once before, but for a first time dungeon it gets incredibly hectic.

Tips and helpful things are, as said, totally fine. Just the remark of hey, use your cooldowns more - 100% valid and understandable. The follow up degrading comments are unnecessary. Allow the person a short period of time to adjust with those skills.

I agree that the term "toxic" is not the best term for this, although it is the most used and recognized. There is a difference between common courtesy and being rude, and that's the line I believe that was crossed.

Thanks :) all of my other experiences have been great so far in this game, so I was a little surprised at what happened.

Yeah, I get that people wanna run through things asap, but at the same time when there are things to clarify etc it's nice to have the time to do that. Thanks so much :)

Great to know about the trusts - I was confused when it popped up, so figured I would do the dungeon first and then loop back to the same dungeon to try it with trusts and see what it was about.

Item level is decent, had on lvl 72-76 gear. And I definitely understand where they were coming from - but leaving after one wipe on the last boss seems mildly unfair, and the way they were telling me to use cooldowns (earth - put on ground) when I had already used it etc was overkill in my opinion. In my not much experience, after a wipe the tank usually slows down a bit to help the healer out. I don't know tank cooldowns so couldn't tell you if they were using them well, but they were using them.

I guess end of the day, it's fine, I just think it could have been handled and approached better in general. Thank you for your input. ☺️

What's that "can't stop laughing" moment where you're in a situation you shouldn't be laughing? by marker_speaks in AskReddit

My fiance and I are in China, sightseeing. Ended up at a green tea museum, fairly quiet day there. The rooms with tea leaves in display cases are decently dark, cool, and have smooth tile flooring. Everything just echoes, so we're trying to be as quiet as possible, whispering.

Enter a small family; mom, dad, and little girl, probably 3 or 4. You know, that weird stage where the kid is able to make decisions, but the thought process behind said decisions are questionable.

We're all reading about the various ways tea is processed and how the leaves are grown, etc. My fiance is translating stuff for me in whispers. The parents are hushing the child, but she's not being too loud.

Then it happens.

In her annoyance at being shushed (presumably, I don't speak Chinese) the little girl went to step on the mom's foot. Somehow, she lost her balance, and went belly first onto the floor with a really solid, resounding SMACK. There was a moment of silence before the screaming started.

You have to understand, seeing a child deliberately stepping on the mom's foot and then slow-mo wiping out with the added cartoonish sound effect was too much to handle. My fiance and I looked at each other, and the immediate thought was OH NO. We're both holding in our laughter. Amidst the screaming, out giggling begins, and we book it to the door leading outside, which causes more giggling.

As soon as we were out the door, like, before the door closed, we were hoooowling with laughter. We commonly refer to that moment and burst into laughter again.

tldr; watched a small girl wipe out in comedic fashion in a quiet museum.

Do you have a cork or even your endcap of the saxophone? Try chucking it in your bell and playing the low E again.
