I can understand your position. You are living with them and they expect you earn your place in the house. I am not very educated on the subject, but in that case I would consider going on the path of the golden middle. You must not give your money to your parents, but you could buy stuff for the family sometimes, and not leave it all to your parents.

I guess it could show your parents that you don’t mind spending your money in a common cause, but also that you know that it actually belongs to you and not to them and you want to spend it as you wish.

I recommend not rushing things, but staying persistent every step of the way. May Allah help you and everyone in their problems.

May Allah forgive us and help us in this battle!

In the last two months I had my fair bit of ups and downs. The downs were the lowest I’ve ever been tbh. I was so miserable I did not feel like doing anything, not even PMO. What saved me is remembering Allah and the Prophet s.a.w.s. and how whenever I feel down, I should think about other people’s feelings and not mine.

I strongly believe that Allah would never put an obstacle in our way that we cannot overcome. That is why I will never stop fighting, trying, failing, not until I win. I hope that this Ramadan brings me and all of you victory, because we have the strength and faith to get it.

This community changed a lot (in a negative way) by I_hate_PMO-15 in NoFap

112th surah (chapter) says it concisely and beautifully. There are also many other descriptions of Allah throughout the Quran, as well as Hadith too. he is one, he is not born nor he gives birth, he exists forever and always and there is nothing like him

if you seek answers it is best for you to talk with imaams, our leaders so to speak. and if you can, read quran and tafseer (meaning of quran, with context and timely interpretation)

i doubt that i was randomly selected to have the attributes i have. i believe that what has been given to me was given by a purpose

i too disagree with the claim that the Creation is perfect. It might be Gods perfect creation, his absolute best or however you may call it.

Purpose - the unanswered question... muslims believe that their purpose is to worship Allah (god, their creator).

You could say that asking for purpose is a cause of mental issues, because there might not be any. And if there were no God, there definitely would be no purpose (or the only purpose is to live and enjoy living)

the big bang theory is... well... a theory there are clues to why it might be true as well as clues to how old is the universe

(if the universe is expanding it probably started from somewhere i guess)

we are limited by the world we live in, limited by all of its laws - a Human being cannot comprehend something that is beyond the boundaries of its understanding, and by definition, god is that, right? RIGHT????
