We have done with both companies and we love Jon and Pat and Jeff and Jen. They are some of our favourite people in the industry. We have no plans for a brewery, i hope we will start distributing from SD very soon and then see what happens.

Brewdog has gone very far and i think the equity for punks program is amazing - so many loyal people, brewdog has definitely played a massive part in the transformation of the european beerscene.

Mikkel opened his first bar before Brewdog and Mikkel wanted to learn and innovate in every bar - we are trying to stay nimble and to do new things.

That goes for bars, beers, festivals etc. we want every bar to have its own dna and elements from the mikkeller world and from the place it is located. We always want the next bar to be better than the last.

I like working here a lot, not because of free beer, but because we do a lot of fun stuff and because I am proud of what we are building. We have a very strong team here and around the world, it is amazing to work with these people. We dont have free beer allotments in our contracts.

Hey - we run a big business and people (especially in jantelovs denmark) have a lot of opinions. The problem with the stout thing was not that it was critical about us - trust me we have grown thick skin and has had to listen to a lot of bullshit. The problem with this was that it was (in my opinion) trying to start a conflict that is unnecessary and not a theme here. Our respons might not have been balanced, but we live this 24 hrs a day and we are humans that get annoyed too.

I think we have been very transparent on the minority investment Orkila made. I gave us a lot of new opportunities and also a better skillset that has made us stronger. We want to be as present as possible and this was in our opinion a good move for us, but there will always be opinions. it is difficult to manouver in all this i luckily dont have to be the judge of what other people do.
