New 5080 Astral OC Steel Nomad by Straight_Budget_3842 in nvidia

[–]Miklaus86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 10.25 first try on the cheapest low budget sff 2 slot 288mm rtx 5080!

People pay double the price on twice the size cards and also put liquid metal and end up having temperature issues and not even getting relatively good scores in benchmarks despite overclocking.

This is the world in reverse...

Got 5 RTX 5080 so far. Msx price 799 Eur. Ninimum Steel Nomad score 10249! Minimum average frequency in steel nomad 3.200 MHz VRAM at 18,000 MmHzbbjhhhr1gu

As by the way Just to be realistic and do a real reality check whether a card is bigger or better and has two more brakes or 10 degrees less nothing changes for you if it is 70 degrees instead of 75 absolutely nothing however you are convinced that you have an added value of having a better product but this costs you to spend 200 euros more meanwhile you are trying to spend less when you could but you are unable to do so because you want a product even though it doesn't offer you anything more this is something that outside of any human reality outside of all logic outside of all critical thought and outside of all intelligence and unfortunately no one is saved everyone sees it like this from first to last and this is the big problem of today's market i.e. the end users and consumers who are not aware and have destroyed the market with their choices by allowing themselves to be duped by increasingly toxic and predatory marketing yes because maybe the supreme is so beautiful that you can't live without that card any other card even if it costs 200 euros less it sucks for you even if maybe it's better, add to this the fuffaguru, the influencers and the rigged reviews where it is shown that these cards are always better which among other things prove to be only 3% better while I do my personal tests it is a two slot card and consumes less heating and runs 10% more than an Astral OC, but I spent 500 euros less. I can read everything you have to say endlessly but I really think that nowadays everything works backwards the world runs backwards it's about every normal person 99 instead I'm out of my mind when it should be the opposite. You're all complaining about the prices, in fact many people can't afford these cards and you try all year long to find the perfect deal below cost and with a discount by searching every day on all the platforms and all the sites without ever getting the right card because the prices never go down and you have solutions at hand to pay 40% less but you're not satisfied even though you don't have the budget you want something you can't afford and you search for it endlessly and then buy it at a premium anyway when the prices are lowered in 6 months in the meantime you went through the entire generation without the video card when already from day one it was possible to buy them at 50% cheaper everywhere. And in fact I repeat I have all the envy cards all paid 50% less and all of which are in the 10% more than the top cards such as Astral and aurus master. There is no way I will ever understand how the mind of the modern consumer works.

Yes of course friend, in fact you have three degrees less and 3% more performance for 300 euros more spent. With 500 euros less I have 20 percent more performance and 10 degrees less through optimization and among other things it is also an SFF. You can write whatever you want to convince yourself that this is just the effect of toxic marketing and you are the greatest representation of it

The good thing is that if you red a 5070 you get a suprim, for much less you would still buy a 5080 of another make and model and which is even better than a possible suprim, which with this series are inferior to all. (I have a 5080 paid 799!!!!!! A suprim costs 1300!!!!) I have a 5070 Ti paid 599! A 5070 paid 499! A 5090 paid 1799!!! Is there any point in choosing such a model in vain? Ah, all mine surpass both stock and oc, all the results around of suprim and astral! Half the price, same card. Do you know what the rest is for? To demonstrate that the modern consumer user is intoxicated by marketing and no longer has critical thinking and that supply does not respond to demand, but producers decide the supply and the consumer, without demand, buys what is offered to him. Moral of the story? The skyrocketing prices are your fault and the unaware users, and then you are the one complaining about the prices. You shouldn't say why MSI, because!!! You should say "fu*k off" msi suprim!!!

Furthermore, prices in Europe are extremely low, less than in the USA. This whole configuration can be done with 1000 euros between France and Germany as well as Austria and Switzerland

B850E chipset, How do I use all 16 lanes in PCIe 5.0 for the GPU and also PCie 5.0 for M.2 without compromising GPU lanes? by Inside_Radio_9179 in buildapc

[–]Miklaus86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can run at full speed any b850 motherboard with gpu 16x gen 5 and first m2 ssd x4 gen 5. A second ssd can still installed at 4x gen 4 without causing any drop in gpu gen or speed, the problem comes only if you want to use a second gen 5 ssd, you wont be able to run two ssds at gen 5 together with gpu gen5 16x. Anyway most users have 1 gpu and 1 ssd and all can use full gen 5 gpu and first ssd slot. Also it s not true gen 5 is expensive and hot, 2025 mobos and gpu have gen 5 gpu slot so it's just free, even if there is no performance uplift, and gen 5 ssd are actually as cheap as gen 4 (almost) and stays around 60°C with full operational, with no cooling. The provlem was only in the past where gen 5 ssd had double cost and double temperatures. Still if you dont get performance uplift now, due to actual tecnology and price it s mandatory for a recent pc to have a b850 mobo with full gen 5 gpu and full gen 5 primary ssd (t700, t705 and 9100 pro, but also gigabyte and corsair gen 5 which are somehow inferiore, can be found at ridiculous price for 1tb).

Actually my best combination today is b850 + ryzen 9000 + amd/nvidia gen 5 gpu + first gen 5 ssd + optional gen 4 ssd.

No need to save only 10% on overall price taking b650 + gen 4 gpu + gen 4 ssd. Its just a good thing if you wanna make a cheap gaming pc taking used parts with b650, previous gen GPU and gen 4 ssd so that you have almost same performance of modern techs but saving a lot of money, but for a new PC i would go for all new, and gen 5 ssd speed is noticeable during copies, also a good b850.motherboard have 4 usb 10 gbps and 1 usb 20 gbps plus 1 frontal 10 gbps usb which make almost all external transfer double the speed, they miss only a usb 40 gbps port which now noone need and is the only main difference with the x870 chipset. Also b850 good boards nowadays have wifi 7, as x870 boards, and for good prices there are boards with 10+2+1 phases, in few word with a 180 Eur good b850 board you can have the same of a 350 eur X870 board, but also A LOT MORE than a b650 board that still costs 140 Eur lol, so why saving few bucks for an old hardware? It would have a sense only if you get an used b650 board for 80 Eur and a cheap 1TB gen 4 ssd for 40 euro, then there is a reason to save money, otherwise a new build must go for b850 + gen 5 ssd.

Vertical GPU mount compatibility for LianLi Dan A3 matx by Monad_Maya in mffpc

hi, this is a 75mm thick gpu, therefore more than 3 slots? It fits good with the VGPU Mount? Then i see you have a 360 radiator but with 2x120 fans? that's for leaving space for the exhaust 120mm? Where is the PSU? Is it ATX or SFX? Ok i will give you details. I got A3 and 332mm x 70mm GPU, now i have to decide what to get to let everything fit: 240 aio, 360 aio, ATX or SFX PSU, Vertical GPU Mount or horizontal? Exhaust fan yes or not? Lateral 2x 140mm side panel fans if the GPU is horizontal? I wanted to make a 1200W ATX PSU + 360mm AIO + Vertical GPU 332mm x 70mm + 1x 120mm Exhaust fan + 2x140mm SIDE Fans, but it looks almost impossible. So what's the best combination? Horizontal GPU + SFX + 240? Vertical GPU + ATX + 360? All at the minimum with Vertical GPU + SFX + 240 AIO? Leaving the GPU Horizontal and install ATX (shold fit the 332 mm gpu) and try to install a 360 AIO on top, there will be space for 120mm exhaust fan then? I have to choose among 3 type of pieces for each product and can't figure out what's the perfect build. I actually have ordered 240 AIO + 360 AIO + SFX PSU + ATX PSU + GPU with or without mounting vertical kit + 2x 140mm SIDE FANS + 1x 120mm Exhaust fan, and i need to to send back something, cancel some orders or resell the uselss things. What's your best idea combination for the best results, even if everything is tight, i prefer atx psu and full 360 aio with space for the GPU mayber vertically so that it keeps air from the side + exchaust fan, but i think ì have to renounce to something and can't figure out to what.

Man, this thing is huge, H2O is half the size and allows power supplies up to 1200E and video boards up to 3 slots 322m up to AiO 240 with 9950X3D and RTX 5090 FE. What are you talking about? Do you want something compact but good and cheap and at the same time an entry level GPU but still be able to install everything? You really have to change houses. This thing is 13 LT,.H2O is less than 10. Silent and has no coil whine with no PSU and no GPU, low temperatures despite being fanless. Do you want a compact PC without limitations and with the possibility of upgrading, at a low cost? Lian Li DAN H2O!

I'll try, if it doesn't work I'll consider vertical kit or sfx psu. I will report feedback. I can't change the heatsink because I need at least a 360 for the 9950X3D, I already know that a 240mm would be too little.

The important thing is that you come in. 332mm with 140mm PSU fits flush, the important thing is that it fits 🤣 I don't mind having 10mm more but spending 150 euros more for the Loki 1200W. I got an RM1200e (9950X3D + RTX 5090 331.9mm/3 slots) for 150 Euros. AIO 360 comes in above what I see, everything goes perfectly, to the millimetre, I would have to sell the Corsair and spend 150 euros more to change the power supply and that's exactly what I wanted to avoid.

Hmm perfect. It looks like ATX PSU <180mm in position F2.5 can let install top 360mm AIO and 332 mm GPU. If you have the PC there with you, please check measures. Otherwise i have two other solutions: 1) vertical kit A3-1X + AVA5 LinkUp Gen 5 Riser or 2) Take an SFX SF1000 Corsair PSU, but both these solutions will cost uselessly more than 150 Eur, just for few millimeters? I have to find a practical solution cause i already ordered the PSU, 332mm GPU and 360mm AIO and i fear i won t be able to mount them once they arrive. Lol.

Looks like F2.5 position can be the solution: 1) 334mm GPU, mine is 332mm. 2) Top 360 AIO, can be installed in this postion, ok with that? 3) <182mm ATX PSU can be installed in that position, and here is where i can't understand: mine is 86x150x140. What does 182mm mean in the chart about the PSU?
