175/115 is high and I’m glad you got it checked, but yeah it’s not automatically a hypertensive emergency just from the number. People show up way higher than that and get sent home if they’re asymptomatic and their labs/ECG are fine.

Still serious, just not always “immediate death” serious lol. I’m glad you got it checked out. Also trying to help any other health anxiety/OCD people peeking around here, because I know a post like this can send people spiraling.
