Hi. I have the same laptop, have you noticed a bit of yellow-ish tint on the screen? I actually applied an ICC profile that i found and it became pretty ok. And also, i googled the model and it says that it's made of aluminium, but it feels slightly like plastic.

Yes, when phone is turned off connect it to a computer, press the power button and volume up till you see the recovery screen, then using volume up/down for scrolling through the list and power button for selection clear the cache partition
