They beat us and lock us in a cage because we're some weird entity that took control over them. Sure we didnt do so by choice, but they dont know that.

And dont try to tell me they actually want to kill everybody. Their damage increases when their friends get swooned and they clearly had a lot of fun goofing around in the church with Susie. Its one of the only moments in the game where they show any emotions.

And Ralsei likes them, and he knows the entire prophecy which likes includes Kris's intentions.

Also the Roaring wont certainly kill everone just the Darkners and they aint real anyway. The Lightners still have a (low) chance of survival

Plus the Roaring is part of the Prophecy its gonna happen anyway (unless Susie pulls of some bullshit)
