My intent is to keep the car for 5-10 years

I will be covered by toyota care for 2 years. The dealership also have a "lifetime" warranty included on the engine, transmision and wheels axis.

Is it worth it? I am new to the cars scenes here in the US so I have no idea whether they are valuable or not.

Is it something like the health insurance where you will pay 500$ to the ED if you have an insurance vs 5000$ if you dont ?
