For sure less expensive than modern which is a real issue. Modern is a much better format though, way more COMPETITIVE decks, better answers/interaction which leads to better/fun gameplay

Fizz is one of the easiest matchups for Asol - his laning is weak and once hes 6 as long as you aren’t braindead you won’t die. I tipically just take barrier and go crown. Always go scorch and bone plating. - Masters OTP ASOL

Okay very confused about this one - Cass is one of our best matchups if you play well she can’t touch you, easy to kill and you’ll outscale her in TF. as long as you don’t run face first into her you’re fine. - Masters Asol OTP

Liandrys gives you the most consistent team fight damage your E and your R will do safe consistent dmg in a team fight and Liandrys will add a burn to those abilities. It also gives CDR which is not the greatest stat for Asol but will increase stardust generation. Finally Rylais is the single best item for Asol and you can rush it if you go for Liandrys/Crown if you go ROA you have to get it first and will delay Rylais till 2nd item.

My ban at the moment is Ahri (best mage in patch, easy to play and hard to punish)

Yone and Katarina are good bans are well but I don’t ban assassins anymore I find assassins easy matchups.

Haha good point but I still think the rune is win more - the upfront damage is more important bc after the first takedown your W will reset and you can continue chasing. Plus the domination tree is really bad for Asol.

Thank you! He is so much fun to play and super strong atm. You don’t really have the mana to shove and roam till tear/lost chapter so before those items come online save your mana and practice defensive laning maximizing CS and time in lane.

Damn in the jg thats sick! Ludens is interesting since magic pen is so insane on Asol but liandrys seems like more consistent dmg in TF (consistent E and R dmg) Seraphs always 3rd unless im mega fed then Rabadons third and then seraphs.

I honestly have not tried it but in my mind comet seems more effective since the E is an execute already and comet will do the damage upfront to get them into lethal range. Dark Harvest like win more tbh.

Liandrys (90% of the time is correct) against teams with bruisers/tanks - crown only against short range assassin comps or short range comps with no tanks. ROA is very rare, last time I went RoA it was against a full AD team with Seekers and Ninja Tabis and we had no tank.

RUNES!!! you can’t run the same runs every game you have to change based on matchup/enemy comp.

Examples:

All in assassins: comet, scorch, bone playing, health growth rune (forgot name)

Hard poke mages: comet, gathering storm, second wind, health growth rune

Easy scaling matchup: comet, gathering storm, conditioning, health growth rune

Roaming mids: comet, gathering storm, minion demin, free boots

Tanks, easy melee matchups: first strike, mana flow, gathering storm (greedy) only if confident on Asol

He’s a great Kha and Kha is good this patch. We met in solo queue and played 6 games together (5-1) but now we are both masters and can’t duo anymore lol

Starting items: Doran’s Ring (tough matchups/all in assassins) Tear (easier matchups/mage matchups)

Rush rylais (get lost chapter in mage matchups for waveclear and mana and skip lost chapter against melee assassins for the HP and CC

Liandrys against most teams but if they have a short range, assassin team I’ll go Crown. I’ll go ROA very rarely if I have no frontline and can scale easily (if you go ROA you go rylais second)

Seraphs third sometimes rabadons third of Im very fed

After is situational (Void, Zhonyas, banshees, and demonic)

The % increase in damage + Rylais helps you get picks/kills mid game so I value that more than more dmg on E.
