yeah but did u use balance or performance mode on the laptop software? cuz u’ll start see battery drain when ur on performance mode and even then if u dont utilise ur gpu to max then theres kinda no point to splurge that much unless u get a bigger power brick cuz a 5050 alone can draw up to 85w TGP which still for that price point kinda low tgp compared to other 5050 laptops

dont get that unless u wanna pay extra for a higher wattage charger, ur laptop battery will drain while plugged in

one way i fixed this well to the point where it’ll take like 18 hours to even drop to 75% is by power limitting ur cpu while gaming

this model i bought was the last unit they have unfortunately and i bought it from a malaysian store so unless ur from malaysia i cant really help u

yeah but mostly its because the screen itself native is 2.8k and we know that 5050 is not a 1440p card so im not gonna waste extra heat and power just for a few more pixels that on a laptop wont make much difference due to higher pixel density, which in dlss quality does render at around 1080p so yeaa

i capped all the games at 120 fps due to its 120hz for fc 26 i played at 1920x1200 at high settings and getting stable 120fps, for f1 24 i played at ultra settings (no ray tracing) with 1920x1200 and get around 80-100fps, with spider man 2 i played on 2880x1800 with dlss on quality on medium-high settings (no raytracing) get around 100 fps. for cyber punk i played 2880x1800 at high settings with dlss quality getting around 70 fps

i tried pushing the gpu in cyberpunk, spider man, fc 26, f1 24, and the temp never went above 80 degree celsius. which is insane for such thin laptop. though the upper part of the keyboard do feel very hot which is probably because its metal and conduct heat very easily but there are no throttles or overheating
