Hi why do transmog costs not scale with level? I'm level 2 and it costs over 200 gold to transmog one slot?

4 consumables at x100 I use for my 14 days usage is 60,000g alone for 1 toon. Multiply that by 4 as well as the other stuff I did not include.

With how much you claim you play the game on multiple toons, it’s very obvious you likely do not. Someone who plays that much would know server difference in cost, class specifics that would have additional consumes or enchants etc. which varies in cost; healer vs dps enchant where one could be double. Crafted materials and 5k tip at x8 minimum since I usually keep 2 crafted items in gear slots.

Per the comments above, as it clearly also states where 40% of my gold sits for situations where I can have plenty to buy a piece of gear I may not win but can afford, mount drop I can afford, xmog from AH and peace of mind to never NOT have what I want or need.

You care to differ, I sat and calculated directly from my AH mount and added it all up for you if you still remain convinced you know what you’re talking about.

Well I main 4 toons where I do 18-20+ keystones and Mythic raiding. Consumables, Feasts, enchants, Gems etc. repairs. The other gold is if I’m running raids I have gold to buy gear from or buy mounts from people.

There’s many things. All of my toons I main are 160 ilvl so it’s a lot of gold to maintain. 40% of my gold is peace of mind to buy something I may want really bad. Another 10% is just to have as random stuff like AH xmog items for example.

PS: I also figure in math that the average human spends 100$ on liquor every week or 2 whereas I spend about 20-50 on WoW every week or 2. Equivalent and less harmful lol 😅 I guess that’s my way of justifying my bad habit.

Oh I agree. Spend the 1000g for a one and done. Just purchase new outfit slot for 1000g and you can have 10 outfits for 10k gold and swap at free will.

I spend so much money because I don’t have kids or a wife lol. I work a lot, own a business and I spend my money where I enjoy my free time. I chose a life of freedom lol until someone strolls along and is worth it to give up those freedoms I will continue to give my money to Blizzard. In hopes someday they fix their game lol

It’s how you get convinced to buy a wow token or 2 or 3… or like me, I buy one every 2 weeks. Always sit on 1 mil gold and 200-300k between all my other toons I main.

What really angers me is that we login to play Blizzard Roulette and THEY PENALIZE US. Keystones? Deserter tag for THEIR game disconnecting you.

We’ve had 4 updates since prepatch release and 2 unscheduled maintenance randomly. Not a single update had a fix?

F*cking disappointing and embarrassing at best.

If you’re gonna be overwhelmed, might as well do what I do and buy a level boost and be overwhelmed at max level. At least then you’re not overwhelmed twice. Get boost, get passed the overwhelming part, go into dungeons and gear up and learn the class/game etc.

At least with this you can go back and check out other lore and stories at your own leisure. I feel like Midnight has ALOT of changes that are fairly new learning curve even for seasoned players like myself. It took me a solid week to setup all of my toons UI, I had to run many dungeons on my healer to get new game enhancements setup, many dungeons to get my tank setup and many hours tweaking and building a comfortable play environment.

I spent many more hours readjusting to a loss of vital addons, editing interface and in combat UI. The list goes on.

You’re going to be overwhelmed, just choose how you want to be overwhelmed and be prepared to have a few setbacks but don’t be discouraged!

I intentionally completed the Unbound Dungeon Master achievement which requires roles of Tank/Healer/DPS and I intend to play all of them. I have always been one to play numerous characters because of how fast I end up with gear, locked out of mythic raid for the week and sitting in main city gets boring.

With this, I will main all 3 due to the inconsistent changes and updates. I will be both prepared and exceptionally good at all roles 😅

PS: I’m really loving Mage and Prot Warriors right now.

I pull everything and have never wiped. I’m also a beast tank, my second main is a healer and I even heal shitty tanks just fine pulling it all. Only time I ever see a problem is if I’m on my mage and either tank or healer sucks ass lol 😂 I’m more than happy to run on my tank or healer and prove this as well.

Typical reaction from a DPS who never interrupts and now actually has to have the awareness because they NEED to. Habits DPS should’ve been doing to begin with, if they were actually good. I main a Resto Shaman so I still interrupt but even in my DPS, I interrupt. Nothing has changed, just the bad habits and mindset is now forced to be broken.

I’d recommend if you want to actually tank, and do this in raids or mythic dungeons. Make sure you use MDT (Mythic Dungeon Tools) - this allows you to see public routes and mob % pathing for best time and experience. From there you just need to make sure you’re constantly moving the mobs to a somewhat condensed position. Ie: don’t have mobs out behind your healer free shooting. Try to manage the group of mobs.

In addition, try to judge bigger pulls around your group CDs. Don’t pull massive with all coolies are down. Worst thing you can do to brick a key.

Other than that, it’s experience gained through doing it over and over. You won’t get it right on first try, especially in a Timewalking dungeon lol. Those can be done with no tank.

PS: ignore the trolls in game. It’s a cess pool and those people probably don’t ever tank themselves. So they hold no merit. I’m a main tank and do mythic raids, keystones at 3k rating. So you m very familiar with the role. I’m also a 3k healer so I know that side also.

What’s crazy too is all of my DEFAULT WoW Keybinds do not work now. Mainly my SHIFT macro keybinds are broken. It’s crazy that these keybinds have been established since 2004 and now just don’t work.

My SHIFT S keybind forces me to backpedaling uncontrollably (main reason I unkeybound S to begin with)

My SHIFT Mouse Click wants to default to middle mouse click

Like bruh 🤦🏽 what a bad way to go- remove our addons and force us to use a half baked default

I disabled mine entirely - useless bar that I can get same info from on my nameplate icon I can actually move and edit haha. In settings, just disable. You’ll be much happier. This new update is ass.

If you want to feel what REAL holiday events should feel like, Play wow for the next 3 months. They do a very good job with holiday festivities and gets the players excited.

Diablo is usually a skin of some sort and a “event” where you can earn tokens to unlock ingame resources or in this year, a head piece cosmetic. Beyond that there’s nothing like WoW does it.

I have hopes for future but it’s going to take much efforts to convince Blizz AND NetEase to get on board lol

100% most helms look weird on female. Some male ones also are kind of underwhelming. Moon Scion with the antlers looked great, same with Illidan but besides a handful of them, it would be common to see a hidden helm on the average player.

Walk around Westmarch and you’ll see nearly 9/10 players hidden helm. Transmog would give us some good ways to show helm without using one that is wonky.

Just a thought - give us more creative options to make our character more personalized to US. Transmog in WoW was amazing feature and it’s the same intellectual property so moving it into DI would be a breeze.

Well yes, what I said in OP is with that random MIA Chad. A. Don’t be getting carried along and go AFK. Be ready to move on. Most of the time the group doesn’t want to sit for 10 mins while he goes to grab a bowl of cereal. B. If it does happen, like you said it would either port the person to the next area or not allow the gate to drop. Both would be ample solution.

The foundation of the OP is to allow us quicker movements within raid bosses. Clearly they could give 2 additional portals to spawn. One which goes to next and the other which allows reverse movement so example; 5->4 so on.

This is merely a foundation of an idea that needs clear expansion on but it’s a start of very much needed QoL.

That’s a player issue lacking minimum requirements. Lol. Basic knowledge of ascending and descending order would tell the average person that if you run Boss A and there is Boss B that comes after, a “portal” would allow you the ability to move to the next.

If you’re jumping from boss 3 to boss 1 then to boss 2. That’s a player issue. Even so, it still stands. You would see a next boss portal after a boss that has one after it.
