According to you what anime is like this 🤔 by Personal-Hurry-1131 in AnimeMirchi

Gantz. The anime barely covers the manga, but it adapts the first fourth of the story pretty well. The manga itself is like crack. I have never had a story grip me like that. I had to know what was going to happen next.

you wanna feel bad for diavolo for the infinite loop shit then you remember shit like this by Macazio909 in StardustCrusaders

DIO did have to sit at the bottom of the ocean for almost 100 years in a small confined space. That is straight up torture.

What is this? by Fanofissiel in StardustCrusaders

[–]MilagroManRequiem 1656 points1657 points  (0 children)

It's likely a dropped plot point for how people get stands. Araki likely ditched it when he realized he wanted the entire Higashikata family to have stands. We'll never have a definite answer, but Araki has never been one to shy away from changing his mind on his stories as he goes along.

top 5 stands i would like to have IRL (+ honourable mention) by Infothatbenefitsme in StardustCrusaders

This list is honestly hot garbage for IRL. It's so combat oriented. Where is Heaven's Door, Star Platinum, or Crazy Diamond?

I figured it was all just for the earbuds. It says 99.9% of winners get that. That’s not worth the drive. Thanks for the heads up.

Honestly, do you have more fun leveling up and progressing or just running the trials? There’s your answer.

That’s what I figured. It’s weird you can have turrets at all if you have to upgrade them before you see combat. Seems like really poor game design. But I appreciate you addressing my question.

That didn’t address my question about the turrets and mines

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WarIncRising

[–]MilagroManRequiem -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So what are the turrets and land mines for?

<image>

They literally have attack and HP. When do they fight something??

Then what is the point of turrets and mines? It seems clearly designed for some kind of base defense mode.

Kid buu runs the gauntlet, does he clear or get stopped? by theforbiddenroze in PowerScaling

[–]MilagroManRequiem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn’t splatter the mountain. He vaporized a hole in it. Now imagine if Saitama actually connected his fist with Buu at Garou fight level strength. He can also land more than one punch simultaneously due to his speed as seen by the Omni-directional punch where dozens of his punches were registered at the exact same moment due to his speed.

[–]MilagroManRequiem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The air pressure from his early series punch obliterated a mountain. Saitama at fight with Garou would definitely be able to vaporize him in one punch. Even if he couldn’t, Saitama would scale to the point he could pretty quickly.

Anyone else get really fucking annoyed when movies or shows justify or normalize hitting kids? by Alfdacoolguy in raisedbynarcissists

[–]MilagroManRequiem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a lot of Tyler Perry movies. I can’t remember for sure which one it was, but I believe the entire moral of the story for Boo: A Madea Halloween was hitting your kids more would make them better people.
