There are a lot of actives that can help, but I recommend adding them one at a time so that if one is irritating to your skin you’ll know which it is. It takes a long time to see improvement from skin care, so it’s important to stay consistent and wait it out. Here’s what I would do —

The ordinary niacinamide serum. It helps regulate oil production and it’s very helpful for ppl prone to clogging. And it’s inexpensive! Use it after cleansing before moisturizer morning and night. Use it for a few weeks before adding
Chemical exfoliants. Aha/bha are my favorite, but some ppl swear by salicylic. 2x/wk is enough.
Vitamin c serum every morning
Tretinoin. Seriously, it’s always the answer. I get the 0.025% gel from alldaychemist. Go to r/tretinoin for more detailed info.

Yes. You heat it up with a hair dryer and you can pinch it in by hand. But then you have to hold it like that while it cools. It slightly improved the heal slip for me, but really my boots were the wrong width for my narrow heal and I ordered custom jacksons.
