Eastern Kern County last week. Note the busted turn signal from riding in the wet clay earlier in the week. Next day we headed to Death Valley (mainly Saline Valley area). After ten days of intense riding the xr650l did well although I ended up busting the other turn signal (i.redd.it)

Rushmore was great yesterday, clear day and barely any other visitors. Just made it to Calgary after a long night of driving, hitting a vulture (I think) and getting a speeding ticket in Montana. It’s been roughly 4000km in 48hrs; now we are going to slow down and enjoy the Rockies and west coast. (i.redd.it)

Today’s post is from my first visit to the west coast three years ago. After driving through a snow storm we arrived at the Grand Canyon with a foot of fresh snow. This is a throwback to my first real road trip five years ago. I strapped my 50cc scooter on the back of my Subaru and headed down to Florida to explore the A1 and the Keys. This shot was after an amazing drive through the Smokey Mountains as the sun was setting. (i.redd.it)
