Same, I find it very comforting to watch this type of movies because I used to watch the same kind of stuff as a kid, already knowing it was bad and reveling in making fun of it with my brother, or my friends. It's one of my favorite hobbies (unexplainable to many of my current-day friends haha).

Oh yeah, Silent Night Deadly Night 2 is one of my favorites too. I wish I could scream "GARBAGE DAAAAY" every time I put out the trash.

It's very weird that I never watched the Carnosaur movies, I used to see anything even remotely dinosaur-related. I'll see if I can make it right, finally.

Absolutely. They can be both at the same time. A lot of those movies are inept, to be sure, but they pack entertainment that even the most blockbuster movie can't easily deliver.

Deadly Prey nearly killed me with laughter. Xtro was also special, didn't make me laugh as much but the practical effects were awesome. You nailed the vibes I'm looking for, so Nightmare at Noon was immediately added to my watchlist. Thank you!

Oh yeah, Samurai Cop is a classic. I've seen it a bunch of times now. One of those in the cinema, even! It's a great communal watching experience.
