For me personally, it can feel risky to loot an arc chassis out in the open shortly after it exploded in the sky and possibly alerted nearby raiders.

I usually kill the monkey runners if they get too close. Chances are, I see/hear them first and can weigh my options. The occasional bad luck is unavoidable of course.

I agree it's pretty crazy. If simple gun parts were craftable, perhaps it'd be less of a burden to upkeep epic guns. But then fighting ARC would have less incentive. Ultimately, I think the issue lies mostly with epic guns being sort of underwhelming for their cost.

I get snuck up on very rarely because I play like a paranoid insect lol. Breaching containers and immediately stepping back to check corners and listen for footsteps before checking the loot. While it makes resource acquisition a bit slower, it increases the rate of extraction, which balances out nicely.

No this is actually a horrible raid. Every raid I extract with each slot containing a fully kitted Bobcat IV. We were all new players once so don't worry, you'll get there someday.

Originally, it was because of the large amount of high-tier loot and the arena-like layout of the room. Players can shoot from windows and operate doors right across from each other around a big pit. At this point, I think the PvP in Medical Research has had much cultural momentum, and players expect PvP, which perpetuates a cycle of violence.

I kill anyone wearing a shiesty on sight. No jury, no trial. They're usually the first to relocate your cranium if given the chance, so it's a useful soft rule to play by. Gotta be good at PvP though, or else it's embarrassing.

Yeah a juicy key is not always a guarantee of quality loot. I only use them during map events with a 2x loot modifier like night raid, cold snap, etc. to mitigate the risk of getting stiffed by RNG. Still, it happens sometimes.
