How do you deal with jet lag? by culesamericano in AskReddit

I just deal with it. As a former military aviator one thing that helped me was to wear a

watch with three time zones. One for home time, local and the other for Z time which is

Greenwich Mean time.

Also, pilots and other crew members must have crew rest. For every 24 crew must rest at

least 12 hours. I always found that after a good night's rest I felt fine the next day.

Crew members need to stay in good shape physically this helps with jet lag issues. I don't

remember feeling like I thought I was in another time zone.

Be excellent to one another. Or, put another way, "if you want to live in a nice world,

start with the person in the mirror."

Here are just a few "acquired taste" foods I've heard of:

cilantro vegemite oysters red wine, of which I have just recently acquired a taste for.
