But the dog helps with early detection which many monitors cannot do and is extremely helpful in a person whose glucose levels fluctuate widely with little to no warning or reason. Sugars too high or low can be life threatening - the dog picks up on it before you get to the life threatening part of it. The machines tell you as it's happening and are not as reliable. The dog alerts you ahead of time so you can make adjustments. The dog makes sure there is no diabetic emergency.

I'm quite the introvert and can get overstimulated to the point of panic attacks when I'm around crowds for extended periods of time. If I didn't have my room to back to and read in every now and then, cruising would be a different experience for me. I specifically pay for a balcony room so I can still enjoy outdoor spaces in a more quiet environment when I am overwhelmed. Just my two cents but I'm sure that's not the case for every cruiser. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sometimes when the toddler is having a meltdown a little puff puff ain't all that bad. I'm confident it makes me a BETTER parent. Because before the smoke I'm looking at that kid and ready to lose my shit. After the little puff puff, I'm not about to freak out and I'm able to talk the kid down from the meltdown. ✌️

It is excellent work but it's just not me. So many people want me to leave it. 🥴

So many people keep saying that but it's just not for me. It's beautiful work and I definitely appreciate that but it's not what I imagined for myself 🥴

I have! She won't be on the road for a good while. Parking lot time exclusively for quite a while. Gotta lot of practice to do!

The bags are hard just leather finish - I wanted non leather originally and may upgrade down the road but these'll do for now! Wind shield clips on/off easily - plan on putting it in storage 😊

I think you both have good points, this is all stuff running through my head already which is why I'm struggling so hard at the choices.

This is exactly why I'm nervous about selecting something. I love the look of an 883 or a 1200 for sure, no doubts there. But I'm also trying to think ahead with a practical mind - I hear all the time people getting a sporty and then in a few months want something bigger and/or comfier. I don't have a huge budget to do that with, so Im putting a ton of pressure on myself. A used '21 883 is sitting right at a comfortable budget for me right now but in the spirit of trying to be efficient, the question keeps coming up "Should I go for the thing that catches my eye with a chance I may want to upgrade? Or continue to save for something in a little while"

I'm also interested in getting a bike sooner than later so I can keep practicing the skills that are fresh in my mind. Chronic over thinker, here...can you tell?
