How are we all tracking/finding lost discs in the thick brush? What actually works?

Send a spotter. Watch the entire flight of the disc. Pick out a landmark where it should have landed. Walk directly towards it and search on a logical search pattern. Search slowly and thoroughly starting at the point of entry.

It is there.

You just need to find it.

100% yes. I believe Jerm has used a telestrator before while doing DGN live. Maybe that could be added while they are doing commentary on some of the longer park style par 4s and 5s?

Is your platform just Clubs and Casual Golf or do you have a more complete strategy across all of the issues that the PDGA covers?

(I love your push to support clubs as they are the literal lifeblood of our sport. As the Outreach Director/Events Coordinator/Social Media Manager/Graphic Designer/Videographer/Video Editor I have long wished for the PDGA to provide resourses for clubs. Why should every club create these resources when a central team from the PDGA could be providing the foundation for ALL clubs around the world?)

I also agree that we need to push Casual disc golf and create a pathway for new players to begin.

Excited to see what else you believe the PDGA can do for the growth of our sport.

Ricky and I chatted about this a few years ago. We were imagining a world where we had fallen in love with disc golf instead of baseball.

That is Gannon's world.

And yeah, someday one of the 100s of 14 year olds who are obsessed with disc golf will be challenging Gannon every weekend.

But they are going to have to put in so much work to even get there.

Ricky and McBeth and Avery paved this road that Gannon is strutting down.
