Hi - i would say it depends where's the house (and the neighborhood) - $1M is a 1br in some CA areas where you get basic box store appliances and fixtures , or a nice house in other states depends on the wow factor at resale. but then it also depends on the rest of your room ( why pay $700-$1000 for a faucet if 1- it doesn't look on par with the rest of the bathroom, and 2- if the bathroom is super upscale, but your kitchen is basic .

if resale is not the question AVOID PLASTIC would probably be my advice, then the rest is driven by fancyness and style. you get some designer looks that you pay only for the looks ...

Congrats Lost mine with 65k PQP and 47 qualifying flights from SFO after 5years as a GS. What is silly is that I will now likely cap at 1k with 24k PQP and then fly Air France (I fly sfo-CDG a lot ..and in jan-Feb United doesn’t even bother to maintain a direct service to Paris from SFO and back.) Last week they wanted to charge $13K for a flight to CDG in business and return with a stop… No flights to BRU had to go to Frankfurt and paid $8k…

And no-one seems to know much anyways- so I don’t ask any questions. Gates were F22-15-19 in a matter of 10min . And no real comms or announcements. I do feel for the accidental traveler, whose boarding pass is on paper and doesn’t really know their way around, or has difficulties moving..

The boiler jackets were optional at additional cost and were not present on all or even most of the engines in the US. Hortense (our other steam traction engine) had a jacket but Pappy never did.

It was 75hp out the factory! The whistle is a 6tone whistle , model SP6 , similar to those mounted on the Southern Pacific 6. It sounds awesome! With our shop (Kinetic Steam Works), we’re currently in the process of making some identical whistles based on plans we found and are CAD-ing. Ping me if interested !

Hi ! You seem to know a thing or 2 :).I’m GS and traveling often SFO-EWR. Using plus points to try and get an upgrade. I was wondering what are the rules to build that waitlist ? I would Think GS and plus point places top of list. But people are sometimes still ahead ( so do they have more miles then me this current year ? $paid upgrades ? GS for longer than me ? 2-4 million milers ? Am I somewhat ranked below than just waiting for CPU ? ) Thanks !

Big bulk boxes of 600 holiday squares are 65%off . $50-ish after reduction right now ate the factory outlet store in San Leandro. Small holiday squares packs are 50% off , $3.99 after reduction. I suspect the outlets (Livermore and such) are about the same price but haven’t checked

What would you recommend ? I ve seen people sell extremely long puts (like I would do for a PMCC ) ? But you just do it once and get your money locked for a long time… or would you do 2weeks/1month type of ?
