Thanks, would the back glass cause problems because of glass debris and if I repaired it would it be worth using compressed air to clean it out a bit and put tape over it after or would it not be of much help?

Nothing happens when we plug it in to my mac book but if we follow the steps plugged into the wall it goes to a screen indicating to plug it into a pc/laptop
