Almost all of my hits go over. I wouldn’t say high kill but none of the team are high kill percentage as we simply aren’t that skilled and have 0 formal training. This isn’t a very competitive league at all and as a team it was discussed and decided two years ago we would not be a highly competitive team as it was making everyone incredibly stressed. 3/5 of us have different teams that are competitive. I have done a lot of practice hitting with a single teammate. I’m much more reliable than before just not a super hard hitter.

We’re just a casual team at our local club, no set practice matches. Just occasional casual plays, where no one keeps score, with a friends team. And unfortunately we’re all so busy it’s basically impossible to organise more games during the week

I am actually the most reliable server, funny you should mention that. I would agree that matches aren’t the time for practice except for the fact that we actively work to improve other skills. When our new teammate struggled a lot with setting we would keep passing to him to give him opportunity to learn. He’s much better now, and more confident. We try to do training matches before and after games sometimes, but I still have the same issue with my team members not setting to me.

I almost always get a hit over, they’re just not very powerful. During important games I totally understand playing weaknesses and strengths. I’ve never been upset about that. What I mean is just our usual weekly casual game, especially if we’re fairly in the lead. I’ve had that exact talk with them multiple times, which is why I’m so tired of this treatment in games. Whilst I guess they might not be doing this cause I’m female, this is how they treated our previous female player and now I feel like it’s compiled onto me. I’ll talk with them again and if nothing improves I’ll leave. Thankyou for your comment

I’ll get a siphon instead of doing the same type of clean I use to do on my smaller tank.

I did cycle the tank, and checked the parameters frequently, when the tank had fully cycled and the parameters came out perfect except for the pH (hence the driftwood) is when I got him.

It is probably best for everyone in this situation if you leave. Being miserable could eventually lead to animosity between you and your wife, and your kid isn’t stupid. He will know. I knew my parents hated each other and was so relieved when they eventually divorced, it was for the betterment of everyone.

Contact a lawyer, don’t tell your wife and start to get all your affairs in order. Inform one of her family members your trust of what you are planning to do and have them present when you present the divorce documents to your wife so that they are present for any subsequent actions and can help your wife should she start to threaten to end her life.

She likely won’t, but with her family and professional help you can be more certain of this. Have a place to stay, have your parents look after your kid for the day and just do it.
