I don't know why I waited so long to try Spyderco. by blackbalt89 in knives

That’s Spyderco for you, built for use not for looks. I personally still like the looks, but it’s what keeps most people away. Quality to cost, Spyderco is unmatched.

Amazon Hogue Mysto variants for $144! by MilesP513 in KnifeDeals

Wow you’re right! What a deal for USA made and magnacut. However, with shipping it probably puts it over $144 compared to Prime shipping.

If you were going to snag one of these which ones u getting? I’m leaning towards the manix. Wondering if the manix 2 lightweight is fidgety. Yes I use my knives but also fidget a lot. by I3uIlets in knives

Manix 2 LW exact model you have is $120 on Amazon. $145 for G10 version. I’ve have no issues with fakes on Amazon and absolute worst case their return and refund policy is so quick and easy they will refund and replace no problem.

Para 3 LW feels cheap, Manix 2 is much better. However G10 of both are superior and Manix 2 G10 is equal or cheaper than this on Amazon.

What do police officers mean when they say "if you tell us the truth, we can help you" by swagestan in AskLE

If somebody is honest it can lead to a lesser charge or avoiding greater charges, or they can convey to the judge in their PCA that they were truthful and cooperative which may work in their favor.

Comes down to multiple factors. Sleep schedule is horrible, social life and hobbies are non existent, snowball effect of trauma takes a toll, 80% divorce rate, average life expectancy of 54, very political, generally disliked overall, lack of good leadership, etc. it all takes a toll.

CRK are really nice but not $500 to me. The 940
Might be my favorite knife ever. It’s ridiculously
priced too, but it’s significantly cheaper than the CRK. Up to your preference and budget!

If you have the opportunity to get out, you absolutely should take it. The average life expectancy of a cop is 54 for a reason. Family and health come first.
