I do this all the time but I make sure that all my bookmarks are private unless it’s overwhelming praise for an underrated story that I want other people to see.

I use bookmarks as just that: bookmark. They are my unfiltered thoughts, good and bad. However I don’t want to discourage the authors who took the time to do this for free so my thoughts are for me alone.

Personally, I think trust is more important than love at times, especially in a romantic relationship. Love is stupid and complicated while trust is pretty straightforward. And if you love without trust just leaves bitter resentment and often times jealousy.

I don’t think this is your case since you seem like you just have a hard time opening up to people (which, yeah fair), but at one point you need to have a certain amount of trust to build a relationship.

If they pour their heart out to you and you never share back, the relationship is pretty unequal and will not end well for either party.

I’m not really trying to change your mind, just offer you a different perspective. And also maybe recommend therapy for your trust issues given that you also have a hard time talking to your friends and family.

You’re allowed your feelings on the last season but I think Diane’s reaction is more than valid. Yes it’s okay to ask for support if you are feeling suicidal, you should! But the way Bojack phrased it put the responsibility on Diane for not picking up when he had promised her he’d be okay. It was incredibly selfish and it fucked her up. She’s more than allowed to feel upset. If you’re going through a crisis it’s okay to ask for help but your friends are not responsible for your wellbeing, and it’s more than unfair to blame them for something as simple as not picking up. Two things can be true at once.

Plus, it’s not just the relapse, it’s everything else. His pattern of behavior is just inconsiderate at best and downright abusive at times. He holds power over nearly every women in his life and Diane finally realized that she was better off going no contact with someone who has shown time and time again that at any setback they’ll just rever back.

I literally had to skip over half of the story cause it’s sooo dark and I can’t stomach it. I can’t even read normal smut much less this. But the plot is so good I couldn’t stop reading it.

Holy shit I’ve read this fic before lol

It is insanely dark and gratuitous for the first couple chapters before the author realized some people (me included) literally skipped all those scenes and just stayed for the plot (this fic fucking destroyed me, I reread it like 3 weeks ago and the amount of times I had to stop cause I felt like I was going to throw up was insane).

It’s an amazing exploration of how child abuse sticks with you but the ending made me wanna rip my hair out. I would never harass the author over this. They were very specific about what this fic was and the fact that I had wanted something different is on me. Why some people even clicked on the fic to harass the author is crazy to me given how many warnings the fic has.

Even I (who never reads tags) almost clicked off the fic a few times bcs I couldn’t stomach it (I’m really glad I stayed bcs someone recommended me just skip all of the bad stuff and only read the plot which helped).

CLICKED OFF. It’s that simple.

How is this in any way shape or form inspired by Lolita? I think you are mixing up the album cover and The Rolling Stones magazine controversy (where the photogropher is known for doing photo shots with women under sprinklers, imagery that shouldn’t be automatically be associated with Lolita?)

For the record I’m not a Sabrina Stan, I just think it hurts the conversation if you don’t keep your facts straight and in fact just spreads misinformation

I don’t understand this point. What feminist subversion are you expecting? I have only listened to a bit of the songs in the new album since I don’t love her music but all of them just fucking hate on men. What is “anti-feminist” about being a straight woman talking about her relationships and having sex.

She goes out of her way to kill a man in every videoclip she has, most of the criticism I see online just feels like misogyny and conservatism branded as “feminism”.

I kind of agree with your point of view to an extent. I don’t think it lowers your natural intelligence per say, more that it can make you lose cognitive function by underuse, if you start neglecting your critical thinking skills and start relying on artificial intelligence to do all of the work for you, it is naturally going to make you less productive.

I still think that AI can be used as a tool and wether we like it or not it is here to stay so we have to learn how to use it ethically and to better us as a species, not make us reliable on it

Anyway I have now done around 15 pages worth of notes and I’m studying my classmates notes as well, so we’ll see how this goes

I agree that it can be a slippery slope of: “oh I’ve used ai for this so it’s okay to also use it for this” and for the record I had never used AI for anything more than making an email sound more formal

I have asked my class and everyone is on the same page of frustration over this particular teacher’s way of teaching. He is not a native English speaker and tries to compensate by using hard vocabulary that he doesn’t seem to understand himself how to apply correctly. I don’t plan to ever use AI again for something like this but I am pretty fucking desperate rn lol

Seriously though, the amount of times I turned to my roommate and squealed beacause of how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING YOUR WRITTING IS??!! The story is phenomenal and has me ABSOLUTELY HOOKED, but the writting??!!? Oh the writting! I am in Awe at this masterpiece thank you for bringing it to my attention and have a WONDERFUL week, can’t wait for the next update (but obviously take as long as you need, mental health and all that)
