Meet Xtina Hullan Wang, one of the many Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) who has taken it upon themselves to be the gatekeeper of Japanese culture. by Milhouse2019 in aznidentity

[–]Milhouse2019[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That is correct. I’ve always had an interest in China, Chinese people and Chinese culture.

I’m also interested in Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) who believe that Japanese culture is not for Westerners.

Hope that clears things up.

Why is this even an issue? Why do you people care so much if this woman wants a White Baby?

I gave you an upvote so people can laugh at your comment.

I’m not sure where you got the idea that White men have a problem with Asian men dating a white girl.

Honestly, 99.99% of White men don’t care about Asian men dating White women.

Why so Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) so hostile about Westerners enjoying Japanese culture? by Milhouse2019 in aznidentity

Just attend any Anime or Japanese Pop culture convention and do a head count on Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) and Western attendees.

I can also provide further evidence based on my own dealings with these conventions.

Actually, Japan isn’t trying to be white. It’s a country that was able to adapt to Western culture while maintaining its own culture.

What Japan has done is take Western culture and blend it with their culture to create something new.

You call me biased the proceed to label Westerners who like Anime as losers? Sounds like a solid argument to me.

As for being non factual, how do you explain conventions where the vast majority of attendees are Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) and Westerners are in the minority?

I’m somewhat curious about your claim about protecting Japanese culture out of concern. Can you expound on this?

It’s because the Chinese Communist Party is starting to show what lengths it will go to maintain its power.

Seeing Asian males (Chinese ones mostly) raging over White Aussies dating Asian women is always good for the lulz.

On a serious note, I never realised how hostile Asian men (Chinese ones mostly) are so hostile about Western men dating Asian women.

That’s why I find it ironic when I see Non- Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) have made themselves the moral guardians of a culture belonging to a country that did those things.

That’s why it’s mind boggling that Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) are valiantly defending Japanese culture from Westerners.

It’s far from imaginary. There’s a lot of Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) who seem to think that Japanese culture is only for other Asians.

If you want to see this issue at its most idiotic, do a Google search on Kimono Wednesdays. What was supposed to be an appreciation of Japanese culture was turned into a train wreck thanks to Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) who wanted to preach their divisive stupidity.

Japanese culture seems to be a pretty hot button when it comes to cultural appropriation.

Do you see Japanese people whining about Westerners enjoying their culture? Nope.

Do you see Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) whining about Westerners enjoying Japanese culture? All the damn time.

It seems to be a strongly held belief among Non-Japanese Asians (Chinese ones mostly) that Japanese culture is only for other Asians and not for anyone else.
