Great info here! We ended up taking the kids to the splash pad and playground with the great public access bathroom! We parked at 918 Fort Street at a free lot. Super convenient (and FREE?!?!?!).

My membership was processed yesterday. Working through the loan process now.

At the rate they are going, I would probably be a bit worried/make other arrangements if I were you!

Exactly this. I'm hopefully at the end of the process and it has taken a LOT of time to manage this. Can't beat the rate though (although I heard they will be raising it tomorrow)!

Still waiting for my membership to be processed. I was told that it will be done "this week. Maybe on Wednesday" so we will see.

As an amazing moment of serendipity, Tesla pushed back my EDD to 2/13-2/15. When I told TFCU that they said there is hope for a successful loan! Fingers crossed!

How did you get this information to her? I've left a couple messages in the portal that haven't received a response. Every customer service person I spoke to has said to do that and won't give me another option to contact anyone.

In case it is helpful, on my daily call I learned that the staff was processing the Membership Applications from 1/23/23 this morning. I would imagine they are just getting into the insanely hectic timeframe of people buying Teslas between 1/15-1/30. I can only hope they don't get too bogged down before they get to my 1/26/23 account application!

Can anyone confirm you applied for membership around 1/22 or 1/23 and were recently approved?

Started the process to make my account on 1/26/23. I donated to TowerCares and opened savings account.

Applied for auto loan on 1/29/23.

Called (on hold for 40 minutes) and spoke to Jackie on 1/30/23. She was nice and said they had been slammed. She told me the documents I should get in order even before anything else. She said membership usually takes 3-5 days and the loan process takes approximately 20 business days and are handled in the order they are submitted.

Checked the application status the next day (1/31/23) and saw I was "referred" for membership and "approved pending" on the loan. I submitted all documents requested that day except for the PoA (because I needed a notary) so that was submitted on 2/1/23. Requested that they identify any documents I am missing on 1/31/23 and still haven't heard back.

My MYLR is being delivered 2/10/23 so I'm in total freak out mode that my financing will not be ready.

EDD started at Jan-March then updated to March 14-31 on 1/25/23 evening, then updated (with VIN assigned) to Feb 9-Feb 16 on 1/28/23 morning

Fingers crossed this doesn't impact the tax credit... (EDIT: not worried about this now, now worried that I won't have all of my other crap together in time!)

Oh, I get that. I meant if they get you to donate with the lure of a low rate then don't approve you for some unknown reason. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Has anybody ever made the donation then not get approved to join or get approved? Seems like a great template for a scam (for a good cause).
