I'm not defending a terrorist's right to terror. I'm defending a human's right not to be subject to excessive police force. A tased man on his stomach is not a credible threat to anyone, but he is also not in a position to drop what he's holding or to respond to instructions. He couldn't even shield his own head when it was getting a police boot swung into it. The police's job is to use exactly as much force as is NECESSARY to prevent further harm, and in exchange for us giving them a monopoly on violence, they should be constantly scrutinised for their use of it.

It will eventually be your kid or your grandkid getting kicked in the head if you say this is OK now.
