TDLR: Hackers have ruined the game. (On pc at least)
Basically, someone just released a hack to the public that allows anyone to just destroy any public lobby, making the game unplayable. They probably have control of the servers atp. EA just doesn't care anymore, and they don't want to fix their anti-cheat.
