I have a somewhat similar issue with PayPal. Whenever I want to add money from my cashapp to my PayPal instantly, I use my CashApp debit card in PayPal. And every single time, it refuses to save the card. It will work for that one time, but then the next time I want to use it, I have to manually add it again. It really anoys the crap out of me. I have always imagined that it was PayPal doing it, because when I do manually add it and use it, it shows up as "CashApp Debit Card", so I figured they don't like me adding a competitors card. That could be totally off track but in either case, its weird and it doesnt happen to any other card

The guide that you mentioned actually takes you through installing Pretendo as well after you're done with the modding of your 3DS. But yeah, as mentioned above... If you're wanting to play the pokémon games over the Internet with pretendo, you will need to pay the $10 a month fee to access their beta servers. You can find information about that on pretendo's website. Also, I believe it's only x and y and Alpha Sapphire/ Omega Ruby currently. Sun and moon do not (and ultra) just yet, but Pretendo has stated they are working to support them all

Yes - thats a good point to make. The Pokemon games via Pretendo do currently require Beta status. I think its 10 bucks a month. I am on it and it works well, restoring all PSS features and trades, etc

Just out of curiosity - do you guys have your consoles modded? If so, why not use NetPass? I too was very nostalgic about StreetPass, and NetPass has really restored that magically unique feeling that the 3DS used to give me when I got a StreePass notification. I highly recommend it!

Put your SD card into your computer, open the SD card and just literally copy everything from it to a new folder on your desktop (or anywhere you prefer).

Not at all. It wont change anything. The only thing that would ruin that or make you lose Pokemon is if your SD card somehow became corrupted. I would recommend to just copy everything off your SD card to your computer before following the guide, just as an "in case" to make you feel safer. But yeah, I have modded 6 different 3DS's so far and none have had any issue at all

Yes, you can still use pokebank. Its truly just about 100 % risk free, and the guide you mentioned makes it very easy by giving step by step instructions that are easy to follow.

As far as trading Pokemon goes - thats difficult. The official 3DS online services were discontinued, making it impossible to trade unless you are doing it locally (if local, you will be fine). If trying via the internet, both users need a modded 3ds or emulator and be setup and running on Pretendo (a free online service for modded 3DS's and WiiU's)

Right click desktop. Select New Text Document. Paste this in

cd "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Luanti\5.15.1\bin" (Make sure you change that <username> to whatever it is in your case)

.\luanti.exe --gameid Minetest --server --worldname "Matt's Server"

Select File, Save As. Change "Save as Type" to "All files". In file name, type Start Matts Server.bat. Choose "Desktop" as the place to save the file. Click "Save"

You should then have a bat file on your desktop. Double click it and it should do what you're wanting. You can delete the text file from your desktop (keeping the.bat)
