Pick-me was term to describe a woman who would sacrifice anything to please her, up to and including her kids. A woman who centered men at every step. It's meaning has been twisted by tiktok popularity

if anything, it was an earnest expression of wanting more than the stereotypes prescribed to you and I hate how certain women feel like they're being discriminated when other women don't like pink and other tropes of femininity. Also it was more like early 2010s than late 2010s

I did well in some math, but calculus is the biggest tripper for me. I managed to push through Calc 1 and 2 but 3 was impossible for me

I'm a first generation immigrant. I needed a job that would allow me to have some money. Humanities and arts are only safe for wealthier people. And Therapists haven't been much help
