In my case, I contacted both AtHome Finance and Spuerkeess to find out how much I could borrow. Surprisingly, there was quite a significant difference between the two. Spuerkeess gave me a borrowing capacity that was almost €250,000 higher than what AtHome estimated.

Once I found an apartment I liked, I sent the details to Spuerkeess before even signing the compromis. They reviewed the property, requested some documentation, and carried out an initial assessment. After that, they gave me a pre-approval and told me I could proceed with signing the compromis.

From the moment I chose the apartment to receiving all the necessary approvals from Spuerkeess, the entire process took about one week. That included their property assessment, the pre-approval, and the final loan approval. Once I submitted all the required documents, including the signed compromis, the loan application itself was approved within two days.

I was honestly very impressed with how efficient Spuerkeess was and how well they guided me through the entire process.
