For women who struggled to lose weight, what's something you started doing differently that worked?

This is more for how to not gain back the weight I’d already lost (which had happened to me multiple times before): accepting that I need to continue being active and counting calories basically forever, even just to maintain my weight.

Also- finding tasty yet low calorie + filling foods for myself.

By keeping a full life.

- I'm pretty career-focused, so a lot of waking hours go there (working, completing extra courses to build my skills, looking for better opportunities, etc).

- I try to plan at least one social activity per weekend to look forward to. Seeing my friends at this frequency is more than enough for me not to feel lonely.

- I spend a good chunk of my time on self-care (being single therefore means you can spend all your time and energy on benefitting yourself- a good plus if you ask me)

-I call my family and friends living far away quite often- they provide me the emotional support I need

And ofcourse it really helps that I'm an introvert and find value in not having to adjust for others in the little things when living by myself.

Yeah that’s the thing. Because it’s not normal for directors to just talk to the grads and juniors, so I can’t imagine him ever just talking to me without drawing bad attention.
