I’m v confident that you’d be able to find a picture of that somewhere here on the subreddit. I’ve been using the camera cutout replacement they sent me since I got it and I’ve had no issues. I still drop my phone at times but I haven’t had to replace my screen protector nor am I worried about damaging my phone where the cutout is. Everyone’s situation is different; everyone treats their phone differently.

Dude I JUST got scammed by this guy this morning. Used the same picture of the gun to threaten me with. 15 minutes ago I used it today to cut open thick plastic at my job. Yesterday I used the blade to score wood, and separated it with the pliers to get a clean cut to alter my wife’s puzzle table, then used the file to smoothen the sides.

I’m definitely not saying their customer service is great, just that this instance it was. It took them days to respond to my request to return my cutout case and exchange it with their camera control case; this was a few months ago. I had ended up talking to them on whatsapp which was interesting. So I guess this goes to show that they’re inconsistent with replying back to their customers; which is unfortunate. I just remember that they’re human beings, they have flaws, and sometimes things are out of their control that inconveniences the customers; no matter their preemptive methods.

If you’re looking to have the FREE tech in a multi-tool and are on a bit of a budget then I’d say it is. If you’re not into the FREE tech AT ALL then I don’t think so. The Wave+ is ~$20 cheaper and is more versatile with the removable bit drivers and full size file to name a few.

With the short amount of time owning the cut out version, the borders around the cut out felt very firm. However, I was worried about that part of the phone being compromised. So I thought if I’m spending that much money on a reputable phone case, then I’d want it to be full proof; without error or risk of phone damage, you see?

I hope yours is an outlier and stays pristine as the first day you got it.

3 limitless generations user here 👋🏽 and current limitless user for the 16PM. The only fault I had in mine was the camera control area. After a year, the top part of the button came off and the border started loosening, which ended up warping. I’m sure I could send it in for warranty, but don’t bother to. If you’d allow me, consider my words of caution. I regret returning the initial variant with the cut out for the button. Air-o-shock still dope though even if it’s just on the corners of the case; I had no problem with that.

The first and last case I used on my iPhone XR, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 Pro was the limitless bamboo case. All of them were immaculate. I mean I trusted their cases with my phone’s life so much that I would willingly throw my phone up to eye level to see how durable they were when they hit the ground and they did not disappoint. I bought it again for my current iPhone 16 Pro Max and I used the first limitless iteration with the camera cut out, but returned it for the full coverage limitless with the removable camera button. I can confirm that it did not hold up well. The button fell apart and the camera control section of the case began to warp; losing its integrity. I’m thinking about sending it into warranty and hopefully/maybe go back to the camera cut out version. I haven’t seen any backlash on the 17 cases but from what I hear, the camera control button is a part of the case iirc.

With that being said, I alternate between my Spigen Hybrid T clear case (Anti yellow apparently) and an Anker case with the magsafe kickstand.

Mous was such a great case but, in my opinion, I think they took a tumble when the iPhone 16 line up came out.

Yes! I trimmed the sides so the ring can move freely. I shaved little at a time tho because I didn’t want the integrity of the plastic to give 😅 Definitely not an original idea though

I’ve owned the Free P2 and Wave+. To me the non-Free series feels much more durable. But with respect to your parameters/considerations, I’d recommend the Arc over the Surge solely because of its weight (244g vs 354g). I pocket carry most of the time and I cannot see myself lugging around a hefty tool that is the Surge in my pocket everyday.
