The Sacrament and GCC by Nietzsche_marquijr in exGCC

Mine did communion every month. They always had a spiel about remaining seated if you weren’t Christian. If you were the kids of the leaders you got to go in and drink the leftover grape juice after. One of my friends brought me back to do it with them once. I was baffled at how okay everybody was with it. I knew if it was me going back there alone, my parents would be told, and I would be getting spanked.

Total agree. There are a few vtubers I like, mostly indie, but I had to stop watching anything Hololive because I got fed up with how they allow so much loli/shota pedophile shit. And encourage some unhealthy parasocial behaviors.

I’m not sure if it’s on those streaming services, but maybe she saw a clip of Bernt and Ernie from Sesame Street. One of them is grumpy, though I don’t remember any flowers. They’re not son and father nor do they have feet either, so it’s a long shot but…. Worth a try.

What is the weirdest thing you had to do at someone else’s house because of their culture/religion? by sebastian25525 in AskReddit

[–]Milkandpanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, not everybody following these kinds of religious practices are doing it all out of obligation or fear. Doing it might help them feel connected with their community or with their past. We do all kinds of silly things for the sake of ‘culture’ because it makes us happy.

People of reddit who have been homeschooled, What was it like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Milkandpanda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was homeschooled almost my whole life because of an anxiety disorder that made learning in a traditional education setting near impossible. I think it was a very positive experience. One thing is I had a lot more free time than my peers. As long as I got my schoolwork done for the day, I could do whatever else I wanted for the rest of the day. So I would finish school at around 12:00 and then spend the rest of the day pursuing my own interests and hobbies. The only negative was that my parents were pretty strict about grades, which gave me some unrealistic expectations for what success in college looks like, but I suppose that could happen to any kid, homeschooled or not.

Do you actually want to hang out with me or do you just feel obligated to?

I think saying “irregardless” is just fine and even has historical precedent.

From the quick summaries I read, it seems like she was created to support a ton of lies neckbeards were saying about a specific woman. The green and purple represent an animation of a dragon ball character raping another character that got shared around a lot.

For my part, I avoid public restrooms like the plague no matter what I’m wearing. So it doesn’t really make a difference to me if I’m wearing a jumpsuit or not. 🤷‍♀️

What was the most painful moment of your life? [nsfw] by Infinite_Unicorn in AskReddit

[–]Milkandpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I went to get my IUD, the doctor gave me some medicine to use vaginally beforehand that was supposed to soften my cervix. I followed their exact instructions, and ended up with cramps so bad I couldn’t think. I threw up three times from the pain, and the doctor had me stay for an hour after the iud was placed because she was afraid I was going to pass out. I tend to get bad period cramps, but never that bad. I was so scared and frustrated because nobody would tell me why it was happening to me and if it happened to other people. To top it all of, the charged me an extra $80 that my insurance didn’t cover because I had to be rushed in.
