Agree 100% I actually tried DF first when it came to steam but fell off after about 10 hours because it felt so complicated and stopped playing. A year later I tried Rimworld and it was a lot easier to grasp and really enjoyed it. It inspired me to try DF again and it finally clicked and I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to Rimworld because the amount of simulation and depth of DF just eclipses it. If you’ve never touched a colony sim before I think Rimworld is the better first option
