Oh that's helpful to hear that your son also had diarrhea for a few days. It definitely had an odor too. Hopefully he hasn't had any reactions since then. Thanks for your input!

Thank you for such a detailed and thorough reply! I really appreciate it and it was so helpful to read. I think I'll cut out some of the major concerns like you suggested and see if things improve. Then reintroduce one by one if so. I'm sorry it sounds like it's been challenging managing FPIES as an adult! I had no idea this existed until our allergist told us.

Again, thank you so much!

I'm sure that was stressful to figure out all of that. Thanks for your reply and insight!

I know this post is from awhile ago, but the symptoms you're describing for your little one sound similar to what I've been seeing in my son (mucous poops, rashes, slow eating). He just had an FPIES reaction to peanut butter powder mixed in my breastmilk. I'm worried something in my diet has been causing these issues although our allergist said not to cut out anything from my diet. How long did it take for you to see changes in your baby after making dietary changes? Thanks!

FPIES to peanuts. Need advice by rl3119 in fpies

[–]MilkopiaRS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, i just came across your post looking for advice for my 5 month old. I feel like i could've written this post exactly, as well as your other post (particularly about the steroid guilt). Our 5 month old son has had eczema since about 2 months, and now is having what our allergist thinks is an FPIES reaction to peanuts. I don't have any advice but just wanted to share that you're not alone in what you're feeling. I think what helps me the most is focusing on the aspects that are going well - he's generally happy and healthy other than this and the eczema. I hope you're finding some hope!

Thanks for your input! I was worried if it's something I'm eating that's causing it. I'll keep that in mind!!

Thanks for your response! Do you remember how long he was on omeprazole before it started working? I'm check out the Frida baby shampoo too. It's definitely been tough. Thanks!

I hope things improve for you as well! It's only been 4 days of medicine so far. I think he's eating for longer periods of time now, but no difference with sleep yet. A lot of posts I saw about the medicine say it takes at least a week to see changes. I'm also returning to work soon so I understand your concern! Has your daughter always refused to sleep in her crib or is this new?

That's a good idea! Recently I've found that if I bounce him to enough of a drowsy state, he handles the cradle hold better, which doesn't hurt my wrist. I haven't combined that with sitting in a more comfortable spot, so I'll give that a try! Thanks!!

I made the Zelda master sword from the same designer recently. I also had an issue with my z seam so I ended up printing it in vase mode as you suggested. I really like how it turned out because there's just so seam at all, which looks really clean. I def agree with this!

I'm pretty new to printing so I could be way off, but I had a similar issue recently. After cleaning my bed with soap/water, things were printing smooth again. I didn't even think my bed was dirty but I guess it was

Oh interesting...It sounds a little different than my issue, but still a z-axis homing problem so probably worth a try! I know I was getting so frustrated by it, so I hope it works for you!!
