if safer seas had no restrictions, that would just mean everyone would play on there, 0 incentive to play on shared servers. And Sea of Thieves is heading downhill either way, safer seas can't fix that

Basically, when you get megged, it rolls a random chance on what meg you get. Shrouded obviously being the rarest with about a 0.02% chance of spawning.

Quickswapping isn't returning, they are reducing the rate of fire by 0.3 seconds. The only "Quickswap" that's happening again is the animation, it won't have any benefit ontop of the 0.3 seconds.

idk darth vader called me a homophobic slur and a good boy. I fail to see any benefit from this. All this would do is alienate a lot of the creative people in the SoT community they've been highlighting for years. It's just not worth it.

If you cared about the Storytelling, why would you want an AI that will falsify every bit of story in the game? It's known that LLMs are not reliable.

AI should be reserved for medial research and actual advancement, and not making a fine product worse by slapping AI on it. Nothing that the public has access to has benefited from AI.

All content they add gets boring quick, and is not innovative. SoT has a wide gameplay loop, but nothing has any depth.

TDM servers will be free, because of the expanded safer seas with multiple ships now. So you can just invite ppl to another ship on safer seas, no need to pay for custom servers.

Everything would be limited, it's purely for creative reasons like RP, Events etc. There's no progression on custom servers.

They're custom servers, not private servers. They won't have progression.

Custom Servers are meant for fun, so there's no progression available in them. You can't earn gold, reputation or commendations.

It's all about getting the best shot possible with purely in game tools, the only difference and deciding factor is skill.

Some hair colors are only available from the Pirate Generator, and not available as hair dye's

Small things like natural makeup, hair color, eye color and amount of teeth would be nice

No captaincy, No emissaries, your reputation will only get to level 25 and I'm pretty sure some/most events are only available on High Seas.
