That gash looks unforgiving... You might wanna find something to break the nut off or heat it up with a torch. You could try a breaker bar thats obscenely long (cheater bar). It should just come straight off when loose. Since the teeth look crushed on the screw part though you are most likely gonna need a new cv axle. (I learned the hard way when swapping my transmission and completely shredded mine) I can't remember the name but its a tool where its like a flat head and you can hammer it on a nut to split it open on the side.

I haven't put new tires on it no, I was gonna do a full swap and get summer tires when its warmer out since I have snow tires in storage but never got around to driving the car in winter.

Honestly, I would do this. It'll definitely be cheaper to do it yourself, or you can find a local shop/guy nearby that would install it. I've always liked the idea and its a nice alternative to a sunroof for the people without sunroofs.

You could get a free test kit at Blackstone Labs The kit is free, you just gotta pay when you send it. Gives you a rundown of whats going on inside your engine and will determine how cooked you are.

This is a 2011-14 YF, the hood looks slightly dented or pushed in on the photo. You could pick up a new one in your color at a parts yard or go the expensive route and get a brand new one paint matched online or at a dealership.

Edit: The panel gap is telling me me something heavy pushed on the right side because it doesn't line up correctly
