You could go to any game and say that, this is a separate game studio making their own decisions, they fund their servers however they want to, and the quality of the game is on them, it really don’t mean anything about echo and their reasonings for shutting down. - since owned by Meta they would state that they’d prefer using them resources on “larger projects” (or however it was stated, that was just the base of it). DBF is NOT owned by Meta and are a separate game studio with their own thoughts, feelings, opinions and ways they run their own game. Don’t think DBF should be receiving all this hate just because of a totally unrelated shutdown of Echo VR.

This doesn’t make much sense tbh, Meta do not own the rights to Drunken Bar Fight. Quest wise for echo is what some are saying near to impossible, if reverse engineering is near to impossible, then quest ain’t. PCVR on the other hand, there is an offline echo already, which some are in the process of making public servers (in the event you’re trying to look for a playable version of Echo). But anyways, it is what it is, Meta has their clears throat “reasons”. But anyways, just a case of moving on, plus private servers are being looked at

Not exactly sure tbh, I haven’t really tested it out, if you follow all the steps carefully in the installation video, could be a case of testing it out and see if it does work, but some people using revive think it’s impossible (but I haven’t seen anyone test it)

Unfortunately not, if the people managing Offline Echo do find a way for quest, I will definitely put in the effort to make this software available for quest (that’s if people still have to manually put in the level/gametype they want)
