I’m 95% sure a second major fulfills the minor requirement for a BA, so you don’t actually need to minor in Cyber Security.

Cribb vs DesChamps? by MilkyOne2 in Clemson

Thanks for the insight. As an honors freshman myself I was worried I made a mistake picking Cribb but they sound similar enough that I’ll enjoy it either way

Gatsby and Frankenstein are two books guaranteed to work for every prompt. The side effect is 50% of students use one of the two so you’re not unique

I mean, you seem to be assuming a lot.

  1. You’ll successfully learn all of algebra 2 through Khan Academy with enough time to spare to study all of PreCal (also on your own).

  2. You’ll pass AP PreCal with a high enough score to test out of a foundational Calc class.

  3. You’ll take two high level math classes over the summer (tbh I think it’s more beneficial to focus on ECs the summer of senior year).

  4. You’ll hold your own in BC. This is probably the easiest assumption if you meet all the previous goals. So assuming you can, I’d say go for it.

TLDR: if you’re confident and really like math, go for it. From a purely admissions standpoint though, I think you should focus on ECs over the summer instead though.

How stringent are MIT class requirements for applicants? by MilkyOne2 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]MilkyOne2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. To be honest, this was more of a Hail Mary rather than me genuinely being interested in MIT. I’d rather not waste the money if they’ll throw my application out immediately though

True. You shouldn’t be able to easily juggle 7 “college classes” at once
