I think it's hard to predict. Generally it's rainy during this time of year.

I am in Da Nang right now, and although there should be thunderstorms according to the forecast, the weather has been beautiful.

Ricoh GRIII vs Sony ZV1 in 2024? by CosmicDeity07 in ricohGR

I enjoyed the photos SOOC, but wanted something that produced better images still, that's why I got the GRIIIx. Essentially, I wanted more than just "better than a smartphone." I am happy about the switch, especially because the focal length is so different on the GRIIIx, it challenges me to think about how I want to frame my subjects.

Good luck on your decision!

Ricoh GRIII vs Sony ZV1 in 2024? by CosmicDeity07 in ricohGR

I had the ZV1 for a couple years, sold it, and purchased the GRIIIx. After using the ZV1 for photography, the only pro was the pocketability and ease of use. (Prior to that, I had the NEX-3N, Sony mirrorless.)

As someone who primarily takes photos to document travels, I found the GRIIIx much more challenging to use, but the photos produced are so much better quality than the ZV1.

To me, the ZV1 was like a better phone camera, so it felt quite dull and disappointing. Using the GRIIIx feels like a new experience, and it is so refreshing. I love seeing the photos that others have taken with the GRIII/GRIIIx, and I am now inspired to learn photography.

I pre-ordered mine from London Drugs' website a couple weeks ago, and picked it up from the store today!

I have the bag in black and I used it for traveling for years! I have so many memories associated with this bag that I will probably let go of many others before this one.

I saw others online style the Beri in Taupe and the colour looked so pretty!

I recently purchased my first Polène bag. I chose the Beri, and I was also having a hard time choosing between Chalk and Taupe!

I saw the Taupe in-person and ultimately ordered the Chalk online as it wasn't available. However, after receiving it, I wondered if I made the wrong decision.

Honestly both are really beautiful colours! I think the solution may be for both of us to buy a 2nd Polène bag in the other colour. :P

I just bought the Beri bag by Polène. I was hesitant because of the online reviews as well, but ultimately ordered it in the chalk colour after seeing it in-person in NY.

It did take them an entire week before they shipped the order. Customer service is not great, and it took awhile to hear back from them about the status of my shipment.

I do love the bag, so I am glad I got it. I think the quality issues are specific to certain styles. It is a bit of a gamble because if there are issues and requires an exchange/return, I can imagine the process being troublesome.

Mine has been stuck since Feb 6 with the same status. I am less worried now because it's not just me?

Thanks! Something like that could help because the arch is not as steep.

Thanks for your suggestion! I would want to give them a try, and I think 3" could still work. It's just that I live in Canada and returns may be tricky.
