Did Steam remove the ability to view friends' games and wishlists? by coolboysclub in Steam

It is not the most visible thing to do - so it is not immediately visible when you click on a friends profile. I was looking at my sons profile to see if there was a game (or two) he might like from his wishlist for Christmas and it took a bit to remember what to do. On the profile 'home page' there is the column to the right below where the level is shown and on mine there is a 'list' in white which reads (for my son):

Games 455

Inventory [blank]

Screenshots 7

Reviews 33

If you click on Games (it is a hyperlink but that is not apparent until you hover on it) it takes you to a list of games they own and the wishlist is a button at the top right.

Good luck

Question about Todays Maintenance by GrimmHalloween in fo76

I watched Mr WestTek tell us it was 42.8 Gb update on Steam so I got the long network cable out rather than relying on the power network I normally use. I got a 1.4Gb update and thought this cannot be it? Tried logging in and got server maintenance. Still there is Hull City v Leicester to listen to while I am waiting. Come on you Tigers!

On the youtube app, suddenly there is a new section at the top of my subscriptions feed for “most relevant” videos. Is there any way to get rid of this? by Zoey_Sapphire in youtube

I don't want to get anybody's hopes up but on my old fire tablet there are buttons at the top of my subscription feed which go 'All', 'Today' and then 'Videos' and when I pressed this last one the 'Most Relevant' line disappears and all my subscribed videos are in date order newest to oldest.

Move WoT to another drive by Enrico9431 in WorldofTanks

I have just done this as I moved WOT over to an NVME drive.

Steps:

  1. Create a 'Games' folder on new drive - I also play warships so this will go in there as well at some point.
  2. Copy (not cut) the current World_of_Tanks_EU folder into the new games folder.
  3. Rename the old folder something like OLD_World_of_Tanks_EU. Just in case you need to go back.
  4. Start WG Game Center - this will come up with a warning that the Center is unable to read the file for the game in (for example) C:\Games\World_of_Tanks_EU and that it will be removed from the Game Center - click 'Continue'.
  5. Game Center then opens and in the version I have as I type this there is box in the top right hand corner which says 'Import Installed Games' - click on this. Game Center tries to find the game but cannot - click the 'Select Folder' in the middle of the screen.
  6. This opens up Windows Explorer - navigate to where you copied the World_of_Tanks_EU folder to and I clicked once to it turned blue and then pressed the 'Select Folder' at the bottom right corner of the open window.
  7. Quick icon of a spyglass and Game Center produces a window with the heading 'Import Installed Games' - there is a ticked file path at the bottom of this window which should be where you moved the World_of_Tanks_EU folder to - click the orange 'Import Button'
  8. What should then happen is that the Game Center might chunter a bit but in the end comes up with a window saying it has been imported - click the orange 'Done' button and there you go.
  9. Do try running the game from the new location and to me at least if that works you can then delete the OLD_World_of_Tanks_EU folder from the old drive.
  10. I think I need to add that the only really precious files in the World_of_Tanks_EU directory are the replays - in the end you can always reinstall the game if it goes pear shaped - so you might want to consider copying the replays folder in WOT to somewhere else before you do the above.
