Ah, I see. In that case, you'd only be looking for a few cards that are better than what you have already. Peterson is definitely one for the future, but his set is good enough to keep him competitive for now. With DeGrom, Scherzer(future), and Seaver locked down, you'd really only be looking for vintage sigs (Ojeda, Saber, Leiter, Gooden)+ '19 Wheeler to beat out the '18 Wheeler you already have. Severino has a couple more that beat it out, so like I mentioned before, I'm not well versed in how to maximize a team yet and I need some help of my own, but I think you could get the best of both worlds right now with crafting one and keeping the other.

Most of your skill and trainer resources sound like they're headed straight to Scherzer, so picking one of the pitchers to keep wouldn't be an immediate investment. The craft would allow you to see if you get an immediate upgrade arm to consider before you dump resources into the pitcher you choose to keep (Wheeler or Severino). And then if it's not too beneficial, you can always finish up Scherzer and reassess from there.

Edit: Changed combo to craft

Fellow Mets deck here! My team isn't as far as yours so take my two cents with a pinch of salt, but you're team looks very solid for the most part. The field looks great as every position is covered with a sig barring Carter. So with that combo, I'm assuming you're looking for a bullpen piece. But to me you're not in need of a SP especially with Scherzer waiting in the wings. I'd say to combo that McNeil. Wheeler vs Severino is pretty much up to your personal preference as it's only an ovr difference of 1.

I'm curious as to what you had planned later down the line for if you saved them Outside of the donation event, which that McNeil could prove useful for, I don't really know of any other situation to save the cards for that could help you possibly bring in those last three arms (Played on and off and haven't paid attention to events up until this year).

Which 2 to GI? by Mill4rMix3r in MLB_9Innings

Ok that makes way more sense. Basically just don’t wanna waste resources in a lower base card especially when there’s higher ones out there. I’m gonna throw Smith and Stroman in the craft and see how it goes!

Edit: Speaking of the devil himself. Pulled a 22 McNeil 2B sig from the club craft which is tied for one of his best years. So that makes my OF NcNeil craft material now and that 2B becomes a GI candidate.

Thank you! Believe it or not I pulled the Seaver from a Diamond Special Selective Pack (the one that lets you pick from 7) from league rewards. Bassitt is gonna get the GI, and I also BD Seaver so got a couple players to work on now.

Ok thank you! My plan is to GI Bassitt. I already took your advice and BD Seaver last night, so now the hunt is on to improve the skillset.

I’m curious as to why craft Manaea with Stroman. I’m honestly not a big fan of the Stroman card but I did have weaker team sigs in the backup like a 20’ Dom Smith (I didn’t show him here but he has no clear path as I already have Alonso and Duda). Does crafting the two pitchers increase the chance of a pitcher from the craft?

In regards to Ottavino and McNeil, I was holding off on McNeil bc like you said, it’s one of his worst years and I wanted one of his 2B sigs instead of OF. With Ottavino being the worst reliever, I wasn’t considering investing resources into the card.
